Message from the General Manager
Thank you for visiting our website. We are very excited to launch this newly designed District website in our continued efforts to provide information to the community in the most thorough and transparent way possible. Here, you will find a host of information about the Ironhouse Sanitary District.
The Ironhouse Sanitary District serves the wastewater collection and treatment needs for the communities of Oakley and Bethel Island in eastern Contra Costa County. We have been performing this function since 1945, and continue to evolve to meet the needs of our customers. We strive to achieve excellence in everything we do. Our emphasis has always been on customer service, and it is thanks to the efforts of a talented and efficient staff that we meet the wastewater service needs for thousands of households and businesses every day.
We have endeavored to make this site easy to navigate. The menu links above are designed to provide you with comprehensive answers to questions you might have about the District's services. I also encourage you to register with the website and create a log-in. Doing this will allow you to sign up to receive automatic notifications, either via email or text message on many different topics, including newsflash items, emergency alerts, agenda documents, employment opportunities, bid postings, etc. Just click on the Notify Me button and sign up for anything of interest.
ISD wants all our customers to be involved and informed. We are extremely proud of the services we provide and are committed to serving our customers in the most environmentally and fiscally responsible manner. To this end, we will always work to improve our business processes, of which this new website is key. If you have questions or know of ways we can better serve your needs, I invite you to contact me at (925) 809-3001 or visit our offices at 450 Walnut Meadows Drive, Oakley.
Respectfully,
Chad Davisson
