| Jersey Island fishing/hunting/hiking permit | |
| The Ironhouse Sanitary District allows fishing, hiking and pheasant hunting on our Jersey Island property by permit only. There is no charge to obtain a permit, but there are several conditions that must be observed. Please follow the instructions below to obtain your fishing or pheasant hunting permit and enjoy the outdoor recreation opportunities available in your community.

1. Jersey Island Public Use Pass applications may be obtained in several ways. By mail from: Ironhouse Sanitary District, 450 Walnut Meadows Drive, Oakley, CA 94561. Visit our office 8 a.m.-noon and 1p.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Phone 925-625-2279 or fax 925-625-0169. Or download the application form from this site. 2. Each hunter must have in his/her possession at all times, a valid California Hunting License and a Jersey Island Public Use Pass. Each fisherman must have a valid California Fishing License and a Jersey Island Public Use Pass. Each hiker must have in his/her possession at all times a Jersey Island Public Use Pass. 3. You must be 18 years of age or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and able to show valid identification. 4. You must sign an agreement to abide by the Rules and Regulations and an Assumption of Risk/Hold Harmless Agreement (included in the PDF download above). 5. If you wish to park on Jersey Island you must also obtain an annual Parking Pass. The current fee for the annual Parking Pass is thirty ($30) dollars. The Parking Pass must be displayed on the parked vehicle. 6. Any parked vehicle on Jersey Island which does not display a Parking Pass is subject to being towed at the owner’s expense. Any vehicle not parked in an authorized parking lot is subject to being towed at the owner’s expense.
